OVERVIEW
Our EcoPatches provide a unique and effective way of establishing large clusters of wildflowers. Grown on 35-40mm soil-less growing media on a a fully biodegradable coconut fibre base. EcoPatch is sold in pieces that are 27cm x 53cm (roughly 1.5 sqft each ) Developed to be compatible with NaturesTurf and provides a simple way to incorporate wildflowers into any NaturesTurf project.

Our stock blends offer a range of beautiful and resilient species that thrive in our climate. But the true power of EcoPatch lies in its ability to be customized, we can offer custom grown EcoPatch, using seed sourced from a specific site or selected for your eco-zone.

With EcoPatch, you have the freedom to create site-specific seed blends that perfectly match the unique requirements of your landscaping,  restoration or naturalizing project.
ORDERING & PROCUREMENT
• EcoPatches are not a stock product. EcoPatches are custom produced for each project with the specified species mix. We recommend planting EcoPatches the same season they are grown for best results.
• Please confirm your orders by end of April each spring for production that season.
• Due to the growing format, EcoPatches have a limited implementation window.


Formats
• EcoPatches are native vegetation grown in a 35-40mm soil-less media and a fully biodegradable coconut fibre base.
• EcoPatches are sold in individual pieces that are 27cm x 53cm (roughly 1.5 sqft each ) and are 35-40mm thick.
• For shipping the product is stacked on a 48” x 48” pallet with 160 pieces - roughly 240 sqft.
• If product is very mature it may need to be shipped on a nursery rack
INSTALLATION GUIDELINES

• Soil requirements - Native plants are not fussy about soil conditions, use existing garden soil,  a loam or screened topsoil.
• Level or contour soil as desired, ensure to remove any visible weeds prior to planting.
• Lightly wet the soil and apply a balanced organic fertilizer.
• EcoPatches can be laid in a continuous 100% coverage approach, in individually pieces or cut into smaller divisions .
• Cut as needed with a utility knife.
• Ensure exposed edges are covered with soil.
• Water deeply immediately after planting and then every 2-3 days until plants have rooted into soil.

MAINTENANCE OVERVIEW
• Once established, EcoPatches requires minimal maintenance.
• If used in a garden setting, we recommend cutting the previous years growth back early spring, Cutting back in spring allows seed heads to reach maturity and provides habitat for insects and food source for birds
•Fertilize at installation and If desired annually with a balance N-P-K controlled release product.
